The Specialty Food Association is where we create, connect, support, and share the extraordinary experience of specialty food with the world.

The Specialty Food Association is a thriving community of food artisans, importers and entrepreneurs. Established in 1952 in New York, the not-for-profit trade association provides its 3,500 members in the U.S. and abroad with resources, knowledge and connections to champion and nurture their companies in an always-evolving marketplace.

The Association owns and produces the Winter and Summer Fancy Food Shows, and presents the sofi™ Awards honoring excellence in specialty food.”

One of our most enjoyable experiences was in attending Winter or Summer Fancy Food Shows in San Francisco and in New York respectively every year! These Fancy Food shows are North America’s premier specialty food and beverage events. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet and collaborate with the “best of the best”, and a variety of “speicialty” food producers not only from Italy, but from around the world. 

The images seen here, can give you a feeling of what a day (and believe me, one day is not enough) where your senses of taste and smell are ravaged by a multitude of fabulous foods enjoyably overwhelming you at every corner of the event!
