Bio Orto

Visiting this agricultural area of Puglia, one is literally taken aback when approaching the new manufacturing plant of Bio Orto!

We were met with Mirko Conte, CEO of the Company to discuss his olive oil production, have a tasting and a tour of the facility. We were very impressed with the scope of organic vegetables production where we were able to observe the ultra clean and vast production area. We then moved onto the olive oil production section and discovered that Bio Orto uses "Molinova Serie Oro" milling machines, currently the top of the line from Pieralisi (the famous producer of olive oil mechanical milling equipment of Italy). The tasting was really a highlight of the afternoon, since we were treated to tasting new oils with their fresh bread and fresh (and I mean FRESH) organic vegetables!
