In the municipality of Arezzo, on the edge of the Val di Chianti in Tuscany, olive trees have been cultivated and olive oil has been produced since the time of the Etruscans.

Now in Vitiano, which borders on the Castiglion Fiorentino, the tradition continues with the artful skills of the Gianinni family, Riccardo Giannini Sr., Riccardo Jr. and Giacomo.

The family have been producing olive oil since the 1300's and have been owners of the mill for more than 400 years!

Today the mill has been completely renovated with modern equipment (using the most up to date Alpha Laval equipment) and technologies to maintain and produce the highest quality extra virgin olive oils

Special care is given throughout the growing, picking, milling and bottling of their oils, including the use of inert Argon gas inserted into the holding tanks to prevent oxidation.
